Tadeusz Borowski

Tadeusz Borowski

Tadeusz Borowski (*1929 in Łódź): Grew up in a Polish-Jewish neighborhood. When the ghetto was established by the Germans, and a befriended Jewish family was forced to move there in 1940, he says he even considered to follow them. During the German occupation he took on assignments of the Armia Krajowa to travel through the Łódź ghetto area by tram to take note what he was seeing there and smuggle the reports out of the city.
